JOB DESCRIPTION
Manager Portfolio Management

Designation VP Portfolio Management Reports to Head of Portfolio Management

Location Islamabad

A. JOB SUMMARY

This role is responsible for managing micro-credit portfolio of borrower organizations including NBFC’s & MFBs.
Comprehensive management of credit proposals, financial analytics & portfolio assessment, disbursement,
repayments, and coordination with departments for providing data on portfolio.

B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop marketing strategies to attract prospective borrowers.
• Review funding requests and business plan of borrowers (NBMFIs/MFBs) by assigning ratings based on
Institutional Rating System and finalizing credit proposals for approval by senior management.
• Ensure timely disbursements and repayments from borrowers and managing relationships with assigned
credit portfolio companies.
• Analyze financial information of the borrowers to manage portfolio quality.
• Prepare reports and new product notes for review of Head of Portfolio Management.
• Coordinating meetings of borrowers with senior management of PMIC and effectively managing field visits
of stakeholders to head office, branches, and end clients.

• Carry out financial modeling to predict future performance of an institution and portfolio.

C. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Masters/MBA (Preferable 6-8 years in a Financial Institution with


Education specialization in Finance / Experience experience in credit programs / assessment /
Accounting & Finance/CFA) monitoring
