Given is the first pie chart comparing the proportion of energy consumption in the average household in Australia while the

second one illustrates the greenhouse gas emitted from this energy usage.

Overall, heating accounts for the largest percentage of energy use, however, most greenhouse gas emissions result from

watering heating and other appliances. It is also obvious that cooling contributes to the smallest rates of both charts.

Looking at the first pie chart, it can be seen that the majority of energy consumption comes from heating, at 42%, compared to

30% of water heating. The proportion of energy usage from other appliances is lower, at 15% which is roughly double that of

refrigeration. Energy consumed for lighting and cooling are both very small, at 4 and 2 percent correspondingly.

Turning to the second chart, water heating is the main source of greenhouse gas release, making up almost a third of total gas

discharges. Other appliances rank second with 28%, as opposed to the figures for heating and refrigeration, which account for

around 15%. Standing at 8%, emissions from lighting is almost triple the figure for cooling amounting to a negligible 3%.

● Ở đây có thể viết mỗi biểu đồ 1 đoạn thân bài vì mặc dù các category (heating, water heating…) là giống nhau

giữa 2 biểu đồ nhưng thông tin hoàn toàn tách biệt

● Overall:

○ Heating and water heating account for a significant proportion of energy use

○ The largest proportion of CO2 emitted belongs to water heating (IELTS TUTOR gợi ý cách diễn đạt khác:

most greenhouse gas emissions result from watering heating and other appliances)

● Body 1: Biểu đồ 1:

○ 42% of the energy consumed in an Australian family is used for heating, which is the highest figure on the

chart, followed by that of water heating, at approximately 30%.

○ The figure for other appliances makes up merely 15% and the rest, including refrigeration, cooling, and

lighting, occupy trivial proportions, under 7% each.

● Body 2: Biểu đồ 2

○ Water-heating and other appliances are the major causes, with about 32% and 28% respectively.

○ The data of heating and refrigeration are lower, standing at about 15% each.

○ Both cooling and lighting are responsible for the production of one-tenth of total gas emissions.
