Way of the Unwavering Will

Transcendent Will
Also at 6th level, you gain resistance to psychic damage, and you
have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or
frightened.
Monks of the Way of the Transcendent Will are masters of mind In addition, when you make an Intelligence, Wisdom, or
and ki. They can impose their will upon the world, manipulating Charisma saving throw, you can spend a number of ki points up to
themselves and the things around them by using ki in a variety of your proficiency bonus to increase the result by a number equal to
ways that make them virtually indistinguishable from psions. While the ki points spent. You can do so after you know the result of the

more, as being both trained fighters and strong-minded psions
allows them to do.

Psionic Style
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can intricately
manipulate your ki to imitate psionic abilities. You gain the
following features:
Pulse Impact. When you hit a creature within 5 feet of you, you
can spend 1 ki point to bolster the attack with psionic power. The
targeted creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be
moved up to 15 feet away from you and knocked prone.
Ki Sense. As an action, you can spend 1 ki point to concentrate
on your surroundings (as if concentrating on a spell). For 1 minute,
or until you lose concentration, you gain blindsight with a range of
60 feet. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn’t
behind total cover, even if you’re blinded or in darkness. Moreover,
you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the
creature successfully hides from you.
Ki Transmission. When you speak, you can speak your words
directly into the mind of a creature that you can see within 120 feet
of you, making it so only that creature can hear you. When
speaking this way, your voice appears to come from all
directions for the targeted creature.

Telekinetic Strikes
Also at 3rd level, your transcendent will allows you to strike
from a distance. The reach of your unarmed strikes is
increased to 30 feet. In addition, your unarmed strikes can
use your Wisdom modifier in place of your Strength or
Dexterity modifier for the attack and damage rolls, and
they deal force damage.

Psychic Arts
At 6th level, you can use your ki to replicate the effects
of even more psionic powers. You gain the following
features:
Killing Intent. As an action, you can spend 1 ki
point and choose up to three creatures you can see
within 30 feet of you. You exude a threatening aura
toward the targeted creature and it must succeed on a
Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you for 1
minute. The frightened target can repeat the saving
throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect
on a success. You can have a number of creatures up
to your proficiency bonus under the effect of your
killing intent at a time. You can choose to end your
killing intent on any affected creature without using
an action.
Lightness Technique. When you use Step of the
Wind, you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed
until the end of your turn.
Ki Impact. When you hit a creature with your
unarmed strike, you can use Pulse Impact, ignoring the range
restriction. In addition, Pulse Impact can now move a targeted
creature up to 30 feet away from you.

Psionic Style
At 11th level, your mastery over your mind and ki allows you to
break through and unlock even higher peaks. You gain the
following features:
Ki Circulation. As a bonus action, you can regain a number of ki
points equal to half your monk level (rounded up). Once you use this
feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
Formless Stride. When you use Step of the Wind, you can move
through the space of another creature or object, and it doesn't count
as difficult terrain. If you end your turn in another creature or
object, you are shunted to the last unoccupied space you occupied,
and you take 1d8 force damage.

Manifestation of Will
At 17th level, your will has become so powerful that you are able to
manifest it as an external force. As an action, you can spend 7 ki
points to manifest an ego in an unoccupied space within 30 feet of
you. The ego uses your statistics, with the following changes:
It counts as a construct rather than your creature type.
Its hit point maximum is half of your hit point maximum.
It is immune to being charmed and has resistance to psychic and
force damage.
The ego is summoned without any of your equipment. In
combat, the ego shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn
immediately after yours. The ego disappears if it is reduced to 0 hit
points, after you take a long rest, or after 8 hours. When it
disappears, any equipment it is wearing or carrying is dropped in its
space.
The ego is friendly to you and your allies, but it only obeys your
commands. While your ego is within 300 feet of you, you can
communicate with it telepathically. Additionally, you and your ego
share senses and are able to see or hear what the other sees or hears.
Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish
a long rest. The ego can’t use this feature.

The (Non-Bardic) Inspiration

This subclass is heavily inspired by the Wuxia
genre, where martial artists are able to use
their ki to perform fantastical physical feats
that border on magic, similarly to this
subclass. Way of the Transcendent Will
abilities like Killing Intent, Ki Transmission,
Lightness Technique, and Ki Sense may be
familiar to some people since they have been
pulled directly from the pages of Wuxia
novels and webcomics.
