REINFORCED CONCRETE DESIGN FOR SLAB

L2 = 4 m

Analysis :

Deadload, D = 12.2 KN/m

Liveload, L = 10.5 KN/m

Wᵤ = 1.2D + 1.6L = 31.44 KN/m

Support, Mᵤ = Wu Ln²/10 = 21.25 KN-m
Midspan, Mᵤ = Wu Ln²/14 = 3.23 KN-m
CHECK MOMENT CAPACITY b = 1m
Aᵇ = π dᵇ / 4 = 201.0624 mm² Asmin = 200 mm²

Ԑᵧ = fy / Es = 0.001375
Ԑs = 0.003 ((d-c)/c) = 0.0029 < 0.005 Overdesign!
Thus use, Ø = 0.90 Support Midspan

Check Thickness=(0.4+fy/700) Ln / 24 < 100 mm Pass!
