Be Prepared...New E-mail SCAM Circulating

BAR would like to inform its Members of a recent SCAM that has been brought to our attention. Please be extra vigilant, as some BAR Members have already received fraudulent e-mails asking them to contact an overseas agent to carry out an importation of a ctitious shipment. The Member is then asked to make a payment for this shipment to a nominated overseas account using funds transferred from, what is likely to be, a stolen credit card. Please do not engage in any of these e-mails as it is a SCAM. Please also note that the e-mail address may change but the scam remains the same.
