BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION!

Box Top Sheets are due Friday, February 10th! Classes with 40 or more sheets turned in will win a party. Currently, the top three classes are 2D (Heuvelmans) with 36, 1B (Natalino) with 26, and 2C (Clements) with 24 sheets turned in. Keep em' coming! Remember, every sheet turned in earns one dollar for our school!

PTA Take Your Family to School Week

PTA TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO SCHOOL WEEK is celebrated each February to pay tribute to PTAs legacy of building family-school partnerships. PTA Take Your Family to School Week will be held February 1317, 2012, with the purpose of expanding and enhancing family engagement in schools across the country. We are inviting all parents and guardians to join your child in the classroom hour prior to their scheduled lunch break on designated days for each grade. Spend 30 minutes in the classroom and then join your Sawyer Student for lunch in the cafeteria. You will need to confirm your child's lunch time to ensure that you arrive on time. We kindly ask you to be respectful of the teacher's schedule and be on time. The schedule is as follows: Monday 2/13 Kindergarten; Tuesday 2/14 - 1st Grade; Wednesday 2/15 - 2nd Grade; Thursday 2/16 - 3rd Grade; and Friday 2/17 - 4th & 5th Grade. **If you cannot make it on the designated day, please notify your child's teacher with the day you will be able to attend.**

Attention Sawyer Road Parents!! We are now calling for PTA Leadership nominations to serve on the PTA Board for the 2012 -2013 school year. The Sawyer Road PTA needs you! We are searching for people willing to commit some of their time and energy into helping our school. If you have any interest in serving on the PTA next year please contact us. There are many ways to be active with PTA.

WE NEED YOUR PHOTOS FOR THE YEARBOOK

If you have taken any photos this year at SRE events, please send them to SREYearbooksales@gmail.com (10MB limit per email) or bring a CD of images to the front office and ask that it be put into the PTA's mailbox. We'd love to have them for this year's yearbook, especially if they've been of special events or field trips. We can't promise that all photo's submitted will be used, but well make the best use of what you submit. Thanks for helping make our yearbook special!

SRE YEARBOOKS - $10.00 This year the PTA is proud to offer you two options for purchasing your childs
yearbook: You may purchase them either in person for $10 (cash only please) or you may now purchase yearbooks on line via PayPal for $11 (includes a $1 credit card processing fee). Yearbooks will be available for pre-sale in the mornings in the SRE atrium on the following dates: Fridays, February 3, 10, and 17 .
