    Born 1965 Michel Gagn was born in Qubec, Canada. He studied animation at Sheridan College School of Visual Arts in Ontario, Canada.

    Gagns artwork has a very distinctive look to it. Bold and vibrant colours make his work very notably a Gagn piece. His unique visual style has played a part in such films as The Iron Giant, Star Wars: Clones Wars, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and The Land Before Time.

    Gagns short films have also been successful. One entitled Prelude to Eden has been played in festivals throughout the world.

    Gagn has worked with many animation companies in his career to date, some of these include Warner Bros., Disney, Pixar, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. His talents have landed him a large number of award nominations, for example; he was short listed for an Academy Award in 2010 for his short film Sensology. Gagn continues to work all over the world for companies with the skill sets in animation, special effects and conceptual design.
