II. Background and Rationale of WAP Plan:
Inclusive education is a framework that ensures all learners, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds, have equal access to learning
opportunities in a supportive and accommodating environment. It emphasizes diversity, equity, and the removal of barriers to education. A
workplace application plan in inclusive education is crucial for creating an educational setting that values and supports all learners while also
fostering an inclusive work culture for educators and staff.
A successful inclusive education system relies on collaboration among teachers, special educators, counselors, parents, and students. A workplace
plan includes clear guidelines on teamwork, resource sharing, and peer support.

This training program aims to give participants basic understanding on the important concepts on Inclusive Education and the difference
between inclusive education and special education. Likewise, the participants will acquire basic knowledge on the group of learners that Special

disabilities in an inclusive setting. The LAC session will present the salient provisions of RA 11650 – the landmark law on inclusive education for
learners with disabilities.
