II. ATTENDANCE
The goal is to make at least 50% of the trainings (this is
especially true for players who want to play on the first team).

From the end of Winter League & the start of Mixed Tour, there are
seven practices, so the goal is for people to attend four or more.

Please fill the database for practice availability

(http://sports .groups.yahoo.com/group/abhultimate /database ) out as best you know at the
moment. Knowing how many people will be at each training really
helps us to plan the session!

Just let us know if:

• You’re free one Sunday and suddenly your schedule changes.
• If there’s more than 4 training sessions you won’t be able to
attend

Attendance will factor into team selection, but everyone will still
be able to play with ABH.
III. PRACTICE REQUIREMENTS (Punctuality
Rocks.)
Unless otherwise specified, all practices will start at
12:00 for putting boots on and throwing, and 12:30 to
start. Because training is only 1.5 hours long, it is
very important to be on time. Plus, if you are late, it
makes the captains sad… very sad.
•Plan to arrive by 12 and be ready
to play at 12:30. After 12:30,
there is a 15 minute “grace
period” – stuff happens, and
London throws wrinkles into
plans.
•If something happens and you know
you will be late (such as bus
breaking down), text us ASAP.
What happens if you are not there by 12:45?
We will be implementing the dreaded “pink shirt
policy”. Courtesy of Dan Cassidy, we have seven
ridiculously hideous, tight, pink shirts.

If you arrive later than 12:45, no worries – just

put on one of the pink shirts when you arrive.
Every time you look down, you will remember to be
on time and we know who to heckle.

This was the best policy we’ve come up with so far,

because we don’t want to make people sit on the
sidelines for being late… It can be disruptive for
people to be late, and difficult to run drills
properly if only 6 or 7 people show up on time.
Alas, if you are consistently late, we’ll have a
word with you, as this will affect your selection
for tour.
IV. TEAM SELECTION FOR MIXED TOURS
As the team discussed at the AGM, our goal is to enter
two teams into Mixed Tour, with the 1st team finishing in
the top 16 overall, placing in the top 12 at one tour.

The criteria for selecting the first team will be:

- Skill
- Attendance (over 50% is goal)
- Coachability – willing to adapt/change to fit team’s
strategies

We are going to try to be very open about this, and if

you have any questions about team selection or want
personal feedback, let us know (have a chat with us on the
sidelines/in the pub, or send us an email!) and we’ll do
our best to be open/honest/helpful!!
V. DUES
More about dues will come shortly from none other than our esteemed
treasurer and financial heckler - Mr David “House” McKenzie, but here
are the basics:
-To join ABH you must pay dues of £30 by midnight of Feb. 28th .
-After this date, dues go up to £35.
-Dues are applied to the team fees first two tours you play in for
ABH this year.

We’re closing practices from Feb 21st and by the end of B, which means
that to attend the practice you must either:
a) have paid your dues
b) have emailed House about dues to work out alternative payment
schedule/etc
c) be a new member – if you are new to ABH, you can “try us out” (i.e.
come to practices) for a month, at which point you can decide whether
you love us and want to join the team
VI. ABH KIT
We will shortly be placing an order for ABH kit, which
will arrive in time for Tour. Yay! More information will
be sent out about this shortly.

Shirts will cost around £30 each, or around £56 for two.
Shorts/skirt cost around £20 (Prices to be confirmed
shortly).

Anything else, we are both American (obviously) and love

to talk (obviously) and send out very long emails, so
just get in touch!!
