Objectives
To expose students to the real working environment
and to get familiarity with the organization structure,
business operations and administrative functions.
To have hands-on experience in their related fields so
that they can relate and reinforce what has been taught
in the university.
To expose students to new technologies and knowledge
in the market and to enhance the soft skills.
To foster cooperation and to develop synergetic
collaboration between industry and the university in
promoting a knowledgeable society.
To produce graduates who are competent and thus
increasing the employability level of graduates.

Step 3:
Check and collect the reference letter from faculty office sign in the sheet provided
after collection.
Step 4:
Apply to different companies with reference letter, cover letter, resume and
copy of transcripts
Step 5:
Once you got the offer letter from the company, upload it in the industrial training
management system
Upload the copy of insurance and letter of undertaking (format will be revealed later)
Deadline for submission of offer letters with relevant forms and documents:
13 February 2015 (Friday)
Committee will check whether the training given by the company would be relevant to the
curriculum and give approval/disapproval
Once the approval is given by the committee (placement confirmed status), online
registration of the Industrial training subject have to be done by the student for third
trimester
Cannot take other subjects along with industrial training under any circumstances.

Students must not accept offers from more than one
company.
Disciplinary action would be taken if a company informs
the faculty that an offer have been accepted but the
student did not report to the company.

Report for training form, weekly logs, monthly logs - can be sent
through email
Final Report with weekly logs and monthly reports in the appendix
has to be uploaded into industrial training management system
Every report in Soft Copy.

Deadline
Note:
Students who have started the training earlier have to submit all the weekly
logs prepared until that time to the supervisor on 6 th March. Follow the
schedule after that.
