Introduction
The Pursuit of Happyness, stands as an
extended argument underscoring the truth of
conservative values. This may sound like an
improbable anomaly given the traditional
political, ethical, and social allegiances of
Hollywood, but the power of the story lies in
its basis in fact, and this in turn prevents it
from being appropriated as a tool for liberal
political ideology.

Background of the story

In the point of life of Chris Gardner his wife has
just left him and he is now a single father,
struggling in poverty. Gardner has invested
heavily in a device known as a "Bone Density
scanner". They do not sell as they are marginally
better than the current technology at a much
higher price.

His
financial
condition
grows shakier when a few of his bone
scanning machines are stolen, and he and
his son are evicted from their apartment.
The Chris family begins broken home when
they cannot pay the house rental and the
claims that accumulate. The condition of
Chris family becomes worse and worse
moreover when he often parks his car
everywhere. Chris cannot pay the traffic

Homeless
With no money, and no regular job
Chris takes his son and are soon to
force to live, sleep and eat on the
streets, in shelters and once,
sleeping in a public toilet, trying to
survive from one day to the next.
Gardner struggles to find a place to
live after he is evicted for not paying
rent. For nearly a year, Gardner and
his son must sleep in a church-run
homeless shelter as he pays his dues
in time and hard work.

Job security
Chris takes a risk on getting an
internship without pay with Dean
Witter. The said internship has going
to accept one out of twenty interns.
Chris on the other side hopes of
earning himself the one (very highpaying) job as a stockbroker with the
company at the end of the six month
program.

Alternative Courses of Action

Financial indebtedness
Debtis a result of spending more than
one's income in a given period. To reduce
debt, the most obvious solution is to
reduce monthly spending to allow extra
cash flow to service debt. This can be
done by creating apersonal budgetand
analyzing expenses to find areas to reduce
expenses.

Homeless
Many people wait until its too late to apply for
public assistance. If you dont have enough
income coming in to pay for the house and food,
then you should get food stamps to cover the
food bill. You can also go to food pantries. You
can even get medical coverage. Reserve as
much money as possible to cover the house bill.
He can send his son for the mean time to charity
houses.

Job security
Rather than spend a lifetime with one
employer, which was the case in decades
past, it's not unusual for modern workers to
hold seven or eight jobs in a career.
Surviving in such an environment requires
making moves that bolster your skills. The
best way to attain job security is to ensure
you remain an asset to your employer, either
by widening your field of expertise or taking
on projects that others shy away from.
