Inspirational pictures

By Chloe Tierney-Martin

This picture inspired me to come up

with my masthead because it shows
that in college students have their own
area where they can independently
study giving them room to grow into
adulthood. It inspired me to add the
word learn or a synonym of learn into
my masthead to attract my target
audience. This picture has many
connotations and can be depicted in
different ways by each of the readers.

This photo inspired me to name my

masthead because it shows that the
college has numerous opportunities
for its students to learn outside the
classroom as well which helps the
students have better chances of
getting
into
university
and
becoming successful. It also made
me think about the colours I should
use in my masthead as the colour
scheme used on this poster for the
font work well together as they
create contrast making the letters
stand out more.

This photo inspired to me to choose my

masthead because it shows that the
college motivates its students by posting
inspirational adverts around the college.
What I particularly liked about this poster
was the bright coloured fonts on a plain
white background because that is what
caught my eye as I would like my
masthead font to be like this. The bright
colours used connote positivity and
passion. In this picture the same font is
used throu ghout which inspired me not
to do this for my masthead as I want my
masthead to really stand out to the
target audience and easily show what
genre the magazine is and who the
audience profile is.

The word art connotes the word

creativity this inspired me to name my
masthead something creative rather
than using words that everyone else has
for their masthead. This relates to the
genre of my magazine because the
genre
is
teenagers
(
students).
Teenagers are the future they are the
ones with the creative minds that are
going to make our world better.
