Unit 33 dairy

BY LIAM QUINN

I was issued the brief on creating a animation that is 1 2

minutes long that uses a soundtrack so I searched up
animations that use soundtrack to gather my ideas. I then
created a mind map with different forms of animation and
different ideas that I could do for my animation. Also I used
my presentation on the history of animation to gather some of
the ideas for mind map, from my mind map I decided on what
I was going to do for my animation.

Then from my animation idea I gathered the objects needed

to be eligible to create the animation. I then also emailed the
creator of the soundtrack that I wanted to use asking them if I
am eligible to use their music within my animation. The email
to the creator of the soundtrack was so I could get document
evidence that I am allowed to use their music and I dont get
the animation taken off of YouTube for copyright issues.

After that I then did some test shot seeing if the animation
would work and if they would be any complication with
animation ,additionally I also used the test shots to estimate
how many picture I would need to take for the complete
animation.

I then start to take the actual shots for the animation so then I
have all to images start creating the animation which will be
1 2 minutes long and be using a soundtrack.

FPS Frames Per Second

I have decided that I will be doing my animation at 8fps as I
have taken 496 photos and to create an animation that is a
minute long at 8 frames per second you need 480 photos and
I have 496 which it work out that my animation will be 1.02
minutes long.

After I decided the frame rate of the animation I placed all the
images that were taken into premier pro and start creating
the animation into the final product this is were I will be able
to add all my soundtrack/ effects into the animation.

After the animation was edited it was uploaded onto YouTube

so it could be viewed on my website additionally after people
have viewed the animation I have created a questionnaire
that the audience can fill in to tell me what they like and dont
like about the animation.
