 While viewing the film answer
these questions:
1. Caleb wins a prize: he goes to a place in the mountains. Who does he meet there?
2. Nathan says the building (in the mountains) isn't a house. Why does he say that?

4. Is Ava a woman or a robot?
5. Several power cuts are taking place. Who causes them? Why?
6. What will happen to Ava if she fails the test?

1. Nathan, his employer. Answers
2. It's a research centre.
3. When a human interacts with a computer if he/she doesn't know he/she is interacting
with a computer, the test is passed. It means the computer has artificial intelligence.
4. A robot with AI.
5. Ava is causing them to manipulate Caleb.
6. Download her mind, use new routines he had written, format her software, upgrade it
to build a new model. He will use the same body. He says Ava is like them (humans)
a continuum that is always evolving.

7. She wants to escape. Yes, she does. She uses Caleb to do so and she kills Nathan.
8. Caleb was selected to be used for the test so that Ava would manipulate him to try to
escape.
