Dear Parents and Guardians,
Remember
Another short week has flown by! The
April 14 & 17 2017
students concluded PARCC testing this
NO SCHOOL
week, in addition to the various other
material they learned this week. With
April 25-27, 2017
PARCC testing being long hours of
Invention Convention
students having to sit in their desks
quietly, the third grade teachers made
sure that the students had some fun as
well. On Monday the students had the
opportunity to color during Daily Five,
on Tuesday the students had the
opportunity to share their toys, on
Wednesday they had the opportunity to
complete word searches and mazes,
and on Thursday, the students had the
opportunity to wear their PJs and bring
Student of the a stuffed animal. Throughout the week
the students continued to research their
ThereWeek
was no inventor and began their poster for
Star Student Invention Convention, learned about
this week. geometry to begin our Area and
Perimeter unit, and the students
continued cursive practice. I am looking
forward to another GREAT week!
