• Restaurant culture has just started growing in Patna
• Bars are doing very well(fast moving bars are packed by 7:30 or 8:00 p.m.)
• Banquets have an average occupancy of around 80%
• The best restaurants are majorly located in central Patna.
• There are very few eating joints that offer excellent ambience, décor ,good service and
variety in cuisines.
• Majority of the consumers show a preference for Indian, Chinese and street food.
• Customers are changing gradually in terms of habits, food preferences and expectations.
• Discounts , offers, extra services and advertising can be of great advantage to a new
restaurant since many consumers are price conscious.
• Lack of space in the city due to which many restaurants suffer from poor visibility.
• Poor parking facilities in most places.
• Many international brands in F & B are going to come up in Patna in the next 2 years.
