Jute Fibers VS Durian Fiber

Jute Fibers

 For jute fibres from Bangladesh, the range of


composition has been given as: lignin, 12–14%; α-
cellulose, 58–63%; and hemicellulose, 21–24% (Rowell
and Stout, 1998).
Durian Fibers

 In the study conducted by Lee et al. (2018), the durian


husk contains 60.45% cellulose, 15.45% lignin and 13.09%
hemicellulose, and its content are said to be similar to
wood fiber.
