Plants That Can Grow In The Sand

Palmera Arecaceae

(Palmae/Arecaceae) Chrysalidocarpus lutescens

are a botanical family of perennial climbers, shrubs, acaules and trees commonly known as palm tree.

-is a slender, graceful, and clustering palm, up to 4m tall with a trunk reaching 8cm in diameter. Trunk is
green and ringed. Leaves are 2m long, ascending and curved at the apex. Leaflets are linear, featherlike,
up to 40 cm long, bright and green to yellow-green and in one place.

Frangipani (Kalachuchi) Plumiera

-is a tropical tree or shrub with cluster of fragrance white, pink, or yellow flowers.

-perfume obtained from the frangipani plant.


-is a genus of flowering plants in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae.

-most species are deciduous shrubs or small trees.

Lavender

Lavandula

-is a genus of 39 known species of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae.

Cactus Cactaceae

is a succulent plant with a thick, fleshy stem that typically bears spines, lack leaves, and some has
brilliantly colored flower.

Cacti are native to arid regions of the new world and are cultivated elsewhere, especially as houseplants.
Aloe Vera
-is a plant species of the genus Aloe.

It grows wild in tropical climates around the


world and is cultivated for agricultural and
medicinal uses.

Aloe is also used for decorative purposes and


grows successfully indoors as a potted plant.
