Outline of the presentation

According to the National Electrification Plan, that aims to achieve universal energy access by 2030 (1grid extension 2.
decentralized rural electrification

60% of the population without access to a modern form of electricity

Mostly in the rural area

Therefore , people the ability to work, weakening health and safety, education, and limiting the opportunity to rise out of
poverty

As a proposed area , Kyaw village , in the Sagaing division is chosen.

In this village , there have a good potential of solar irradiation , so the decentralized hybrid energy system is proposed

HOMER software for optimization

 HOMER is the global standard for optimizing microgrid design

in all sectors, from village power and island utilities to grid-
connected campuses and military bases
 examines all possible combinations of system types in a single
run, and then sorts the systems according to the optimization
variable of choice.
 the design process for identifying least-cost options for
microgrids or other distributed generation electrical power
systems
 makes it easy to compare thousands of possibilities in a single
run.
The LPG is a modeling tool for residential energy
consumption
It performs a full behavior simulation of the people in a
household and uses that to generate load curves.

Load pro The focus is the individual household. It is possible to

evaluate larger populations,
generator formulate daily load profile for he off grid consumers in
rural areas for the developing countries
based on the microscopic data (user class, electrical
devices and usage of habit

Conclusion
• The more renewable fraction , the more NPC cost will be provided
• In comparing the only distribution distribution generation and
generator , battery model , hybrid energy , eventhough the COE is
nearly the same but the NPC cost is high and other replacement cost
is high
