Introduction

 In this project I will be working with natural

fertilizers. I will demonstrate the productivity
of each one in the bean plants . For many
years we have been using chemicals
fertilizers that have been affecting the
ecosystem . It affects the soil , animals and
the atmosphere. We have to start using
products that are healthy for us.
Bean Plants

 Growing beans in your vegetable garden doesn’t have to be

tackled by only those with experience. It may seem challenging
at first, but growing beans actually is quite easy. As long as you
know and provide the basic requirements for growing these
crops, you’ll soon enough find yourself reaping the wonderful,
rewarding bounty. Ideal Bean Growing Location Beans prefer
warm weather and shouldn’t be grown in cooler climates. These
crops should be grown in sites receiving full sun in well-drained,
fertilized soil. Preparing the soil with compost and manure before
planting is highly recommended. Beans should not be planted
until all danger of frost has passed, usually about a week after the
last frost in spring.
Problem

 Which natural fertilizer works better to help a bean

plant grow?

 Dependent variable- which helps a bean plant grow better

 Independent variable-different natural fertilizer

 Control-bean plant, they are all fertilizers

Hypothesis

The plant that is going to grow

better is the one that has coffee
grounds.
Materials and Procedure

In this project I used bean plants. First I put soil in

trays and then planted the bean seeds .In each
tray there was a different natural fertilizer .In the
first one I put coffee grounds, in the second one
I put cornmeal and in the last one oatmeal. I
waited 1 week and observed

OBSERVATION (DATA ANALYSIS)

CONCLUSION

After 7 days in which bean seeds were planted

with different fertilizers like coffee grounds,
cornmeal and oatmeal it proved that the plant
with coffee grounds grew better and taller . in
second place was the plant with cornmeal
and the last one was the one that had
oatmeal. The plant with oatmeal tried to grow
but, the fertilizer made worms grow and the
worms stopped the process of growing.
FUTURE PROJECTION

I would do the same project but with

different fertilizers like banana peels , egg
shells , seaweed. I would use pepper plants.
