o IQF or Individually Quick Frozen- each prawn individually frozen within 15 hours of catch
o Unlike block freezing, IQF prevents the prawns from clumping together, prevents the delicate
prawn meat from bruising.
o Freezing prawns to temperatures far below zero arrests bio-chemical reactions
o Ensures they stay fresh and retain their original taste
o When cooking you de-frost soft and juicy prawns at their peak freshness
o Makes our freshly frozen prawns a far better choice than “fresh” prawns
