INTRODUCTION

• The Manila Zoo is zoological and Botanical Garden. It was established on


August 1, 1953, and it was opened in 25th of July 1959 by the Manila City
Mayor Arsenio H. Lacson. It is a 5.5-hectare land and formerly known as
Harrison park on 18th of December 1958. The total number of animals as
of 2017 was 687 with a diverse array of species.
• The Manila Zoo thought to be the 1st public zoo in Southeast Asia zoo.
OBJECTIVE

1. It aims to the rehabilitation and


beautification of the Manila Zoo in
terms of health and the environment
itself and to investigate or determine
the improvements needed to be done
at the Manila Zoo.
2. To promote the love of life and
mother earth thru environmental
awareness and the appreciation and
concern for nature and biodiversity.
3.To determine the perspective of the
visitors of the Manila Zoo.

Negative: Disappointment of visitors due to lack of support and communication skills of the staffs.

Positive: Safety and protection of both visitors and animals.
Negative:Visitors are not giving their full cooperation with the management and security staff.

Positive: Awareness of the visitors in the place where people and animals live and work without
fear of the surroundings
