400mm Billet Heating trial for DENSO Common Rail Project.

IBH COIL

Heating trail of Ø40, 400mm cut blank trial conducted on 08/08/19 in MPP 08 Eumuco press line(300 KWh IBH). Total 5 nos.
billets used for supporting Ø38, 205 cut blanks used and followings are observation.

 Servo pusher mechanism PLC program to be modified to suitable length and pushing speed
 Observed heat variation A to B up to 70°C. A end more and B end less temperature observed.
Variation checked by using hand LAND pyrometer.
 Temperature recorded 1190°C ~ 1250°C in IBH pyrometer.
 Heating cycle time observed 35 sec.
Conclusion:
 400mm cut blank possible to heat for sample production by modifying existing sorter conveyor and chute at billet exit
point.
 One person to be used to place the cut blanks manually at IBH coil billet entry.
