ETHICAL ISSUE

Is it ethical to destroy nature through the use of machines that

can benefit us on everyday life?
PROPOSITION:
ANTI-Deforestration
DEFORESTRATION
- Loss of species
- Soil erosion
POLLUTION
- Air Pollution
- Water Pollution
ETHICAL THEORY

Consequentialism
- Because the consequence of our action will not be seen easily nor today. In
Utilitarianism the act of creating and using paper is for the better good. Even
though that we are destroying our environment, in exchange we can all
benefit from it in different areas. Even though we know what will the cause of
not regulating it, we still producing and using it.
SOLUTION

• Minimizing paper pollution

1. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
2. Buy recycled paper
3. Encourage the paper industry

• Restoring the ecosystem services provided by forests including carbon storage, water
cycling and wildlife habitat
• Reducing the buildup of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
• Rebuilding wildlife habitats
