INTRODUCTION

 As the name says, smart city is nothing but urban development vision of
satisfying the needs of the citizens and providing the infrastructure and
services to the expected level of citizens.
 The main objective of smart city is to promote the cities that provide core
infrastructure and give a decent quality life to its citizens, a clean and
sustainable environment so that these cities will act like a light house to
other aspiring cities.

 The Prime Minister also launched "Make Your City Smart" contest
inviting people to come out with designs for street, junctions and open
spaces and a "Smart Net Portal" which is a net based platform for sharing
of ideas and sourcing of solutions for smart city development.
 "It is now our responsibility to provide strength to cities so that it can
mitigate the maximum poverty, in the shortest time, and adds new avenues
for development. It is possible as it is not a difficult task," the prime
minister Narendra Modi.

 We all know that the population getting increased in alarming way, there is
need of new way of energy distribution and generation so as to fulfill the
need of heavily dense population.
 One more aspect which is in demand is to control the needs of healthy air
to breathe. There are lots of renewable energy sources but every energy
source has got some kind of drawback or they lack in effectiveness in
certain condition such as atmospheric irregularities. So, our project is to
create “Smart city”

TRANSPORTATION

For transportation “Swag City” consist of Hyperloop Transportation System

Out side the city which covers whole part of city.

 A hyperloop is a proposed mode of passenger transportation

 And also it will be used for freight transportation

 The design released by a joint team of Tesla and SpaceX

 A hyperloop is a sealed tube or system of tubes through which pod may

travel free of air resistance

Working of Hyperloop

Hyperloop is essentially a train system that based on very high-speed transit (VHST)
system proposed in 1972, which combines a magnetic levitation train and low pressure
transit tube.

The principle of magnetic levitation is that a vehicle can be suspended and propelled on
a guidance track made with magnets the vehicle on top of the track may be propelled
with the help of a linear induction motor.

Transmission tunnel

The Boring Company is an infrastructure and tunnel construction company

founded by Elon Musk in early 2017.

The purpose of transmission tunnel(undergraound tunnel) is “to solve the

problem of soul-destroying traffic” by building a network of transportataion
corridors underground.

TRADITIONAL POWER PLANTS
THERMAL POWER PLANT
• Thermal energy is used to generate power

HYDRO ELECTRIC POWER PLANT

• Hydro power is used to generate electricity by the help of DAM

WINDMILL FIELD
• The wind power is used to generate electrical power

PIEZOELECTRICITY

 PIEZOELECTRICITY is the electric charge that accumulates. in certain

solid materials in response of mechanical stress.

 Used on road breakers and footpaths .

 For Storage of electricity and its consumption.

SOLAR POWER

 SOLAR POWER is conversion of energy of sunlight into electricity

 We use this Power as Solar Field

 Road lights are lighten by the solar power

SMART WASTE MANAGEMENT

 The current state of technology in the field

of smart waste management involves use of
sensors.

 That measure fill level of the trash bin.

Measured data is sent to the Cloud for
further processing and analysis.

 By exploiting this data, trash collection can

be planned as well as truck routes can be
optimized

SOIL IRRIGATION

 Soil Moisture Sensor checks the

moisture level in the soil.

 If moisture level is low then Arduino

switches On a water pump to provide
water to the plant.

 Water pump gets automatically off

when system finds enough moisture in
the soil.

SCAN ENTRY THROUGH RFID

 RFID belongs to a group of technologies

referred to as Automatic Identification and
Data Capture (AIDC).
 AIDC methods automatically identify
objects, collect data about them.
 And enter those data directly into computer
systems with little or no human intervention.
 RFID tag OR Smart label
 RFID Antenna
 RFID Reader

UNDERGROUND FAULT DETECTOR

 Defect in its electrical circuit takes place due to the current is diverted from
the certain
 intended path and a fault occurs due to this. Faults are generally occurring
due to mechanical
 failure, accidents, excessive internal and external stresses etc.

 When a fault occurs the power flow gets diverted due to this and supply of
neighbouring zone gets affected voltages become unbalanced.
 Thus, it is of utmost important to detect the fault sooner.

 In last decade cables were made for overhead laying and currently
underground cables are used because of superiority.
 The biggest advantage is that they are not affected by adverse weather
conditions. Neither hot sunny day nor the rain influences it.

Future Scope:-
 As we move into the future and technology becomes even more
advanced, the majority of capital cities will become 'smart cities'.

 A smart city uses the internet of things (IoT), data, and technology
to streamline services to make a city more connected, efficient,
manageable, and cost effective.

 The Prime Minister also launched “Make Your City Smart” contest
inviting people to come out with their designs for smart city and
they will promote further level.

Project Presentation (Session 2019-20)
ADVANTAGES

 Self Generation :- This city is capable to

generate the electricity for its own use. for e.g-
 Piezo-electric footpath.
 Solar Electricity.

 Safer communities:-Citizen will be safe with

the various uses of technology. for e.g-
 scan entry in the city.
 Underground transmission cable.

Improved Transportation

 Hyperloop system:- Hyperloop will

reinvent transport. to eliminate the
barriers of distance and time.

 Smart Road lights:- The street

light will glow automaticaly when
vehicle pass.

 Highly Eco-friendly:- It will not

affected the behaviour of nature . for
eg-Air purifier is used .

CONCLUSION

 Better transportation system

 Efficiently generation and consumption of electricity

 Ecofriendly habitat

 Carbon negative city

 Ideal example for others and a leap toward healthy & better lifestyle
