article “Fragmented Future” she wrote:
“The web we know now, which loads into a browser window
in essentially static screenfuls, is only an embryo of the Web
to come. The first glimmerings of Web 2.0 are beginning to
appear, and we are just starting to see how that embryo might
develop.”

integral part in the development of the Philippine Economy.
• The Philippines is dubbed as the “ICT Hub of Asia”.
• When Tim Berners-Lee created the Internet, most web pages were
static, which are now referred to as Web 1.0.
• A static web page is a page that has content that the user cannot
manipulate.

page where its contents depend on the user or the website visitor.
• There are several key features of Web 2.0 namely: Folksonomy,
