Class Rules
ENGLISH CLASS RULES
1. Resources: Students must be prepared with English text
book, English workbook, a dictionary, a notebook, a
folder, and stationary before the English class starts.
2. Students must keep all the worksheets given by the
teacher in a folder specifically for English subject. The
teacher will check the completeness of the worksheets
at the end every term.
3. Students are not allowed to go outside the class to take
the resources once the teacher comes in. All learning
materials should be ready before the class starts.
4. If in 10 minutes the teacher has not appeared in the
class, the class monitor/captain must go to the
teacher’s room to find the teacher.

5. Students must pay attention to the teacher’s
explanation and instruction during lesson.
6. Students must raise their hand if they have a
question and wait until the teacher calls their
names.
7. Students must raise their hand if they want to go
to the toilet/clinic and wait until the teacher
allows them to go outside and gives the Hall Pass
Card .
8. Students must return the Hall Pass Card to the
teacher when coming back to the class. The
student from the clinic must bring a clinic note
from the nurse and give it to the teacher.
ENGLISH CLASS RULES
9. Students must submit their homework and assignments
on time. The teacher will give zero (0) if they are late
submitting the homework. However, the teacher will
still accept and check it.
10. Students will not get any make-up unit tests and
exams if they are not coming to school. The score will
be rolled-over if they can provide medical certificate
and letter from parents.
11. Students cannot keep the unit test and exam paper.
The teacher will show the result of the unit test and
exam and keep the paper after the students ask for
their parent’s signature on the paper.
12. Cell-phones and laptop must be turned-off during
lesson and kept in the bag.

EXPECTATION
1. Students are able to read and understand
short topical texts and novel well.
2. Students are able to write short topical
essays and book report correctly.
3. Students are able to communicate in English
fluently and confidently in form of
presentation and conversation.
4. Students are able to listen and understand
short topical dialogues well.
5. Students are able to show a good attitude of
respecting other people during lesson by
being a good listener.
