Objective
 The objective of the project is to design and develop solar operated wireless
controlled multipurpose agriculture machine.
 The goal of this project is to help small-scale farmers in India and meet an
increased demand for local grains, by designing a mini farming machine to
harvest grains more efficiently.
 This machine will mechanize the process and reduce the need of labor and
time. Machine will perform following operations: -
 Seed sowing
 Crop cutting
 To achieve proper distance in two seed in seeding mechanism for proper

nutrition and growth of plants.

 To make this machine which operate manually for small farmer

 To provide this machine in lowest cost and light in weight.

Introduction
 The system deals with innovative idea of android based solar aa purpose
agriculture system.
 The system runs on solar power which is the cleanest energy in the world. Crop
cultivating machines have become very popular today. Most common machines
are used for soft grass furnishing.
 The main parts of the machines are atmega16 microcontroller, DC motor, l293d
IC for controlling motor, Bluetooth HC-05, Battery for charging it through solar
panel.
 The motor will be of 10 RPM and it is connected to the electric supply by the use
of a roll of wire.
 The machine will be controlled by smart phone.
 The system is like a moving robot having four wheels and the cultivator is
attached to back side of the robot. The seed sowing system is mounted on the on
the robot.
 The water pump and the water tank is mounted on the system and can be
control wirelessly. These features makes the system helpful for farming.
Literature survey
Agriculture is demographically the broadest economic sector & plays a
significant role in the overall economy of India is necessary.
The main purpose of mechanization in agriculture is to improve the
overall productivity and production. About 83.29% of the Indian Farm
families have land holdings less than 2 to 3 acres.
For them it is not required nor economical to purchase a full featured
existing cultivating machines.
Thus there is a need for smaller efficient multipurpose cultivating
machine which would be more accessible & also considerably cheaper.
The idea is to create the machine which will reduce the Labor & the cost
required to cultivate crops.
This machine has a capability and the economic value for fulfilling the
needs of farmers having small land holdings (less than 2 acres).
This machine is cost effective, easy to maintain & repairs for the farmers.
Problem statement
Farming is a very tough work to do.
Cultivation is very expensive.
No portable means of watering is available.
Seed sowing is done manually.
Soil flattering and crop cutting is also manual time consuming and a very
hard work to do.
These problems gave the basic idea about what was required in the current
situation.
The idea was to create a machine which is cheap and will reduce the labour
required to cultivate crops.
This machine has the capability and the economic value for fulfilling the
needs of farmers having small land holdings (less than 2 acres).
This machine is cost effective and easy to maintain and repair for the
farmers.
Working
The machine will be a moving robot having four wheels and everything is attached
to the machine.
The system will use cultivator to cultivate the field which is attached to the back side
of the robot.
We used seed sowing system that is mounted on the top of the robot.
We can use solar panel and battery for power supply.
And whole system will work on solar energy.
Water pump and water tank is also mounted on the system for proper watering of
the field.
Atmega16 microcontroller is the heart of the system that controls all the peripherals
of the system.
We used Bluetooth module HC-05 to establish the wireless communication between
machine and android phone.
Atmega16 microcontroller will receive the data from the android phone and move
the machine backward, forward, left and right.
Also control the cultivator, water pump and seed showing mechanism.
The android phone has software running on it having buttons to control the machine
