• At age of 12, First learned to box at Junior High School


• by a Police Officer – Joe Martin.
• In 1954, Won the fight by Split Decision.
• In 1956, Won The Golden Gloves Tournament for novices
• in the Heavy Weight Class.
• In 1956, Won The National Gloves Tournament Champions
• Also won Amateur Athelatic Union’s National tittle for light Heavy weight divison.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER

• In 1960, Ali won a spot on the U.S. Olympic boxing team, and
traveled to Rome, Italy, to compete, first time in professional
format.
• Ali took out British heavyweight champion, Henry Cooper in 1963.
• In 1964 he become the heavyweight champion of the world, after
beat Sonny Liston. In 1971,Ali fought “fight of Century” with Joe
Frazier and lost his first fight out of 31.
• But later,in 1974 he beat Joe frazier in “Thrilla in Manila’’. 
•  In 30 October, 1974 he fought another amazing bout with George
Foreman in ‘‘Rumble in Jungle”.

THE RETURN

• Mohammad Ali Returned to the ring in 1970.


• His first fight after he had returned was Against
Jerry Quarry, and Ali knocked him out.
• The Following year, He took out Joe Frazier. The Fight got itself a name “The Fight of Centruy”.
• After 15 long rounds joe managed to down Ali.
• Ali Got a rematch in 1974 and he got his revenge beating Joe After their second Fight.
• Ali was also knocked out by Larry Holmes in 1980.
• He announced his retirement from Boxing career the next day.

THE LEGACIES

• In 1984 Mohammad Ali announced that he has Parkinson’s Diesease, A degenerative Neurological
Condition.
• He had been raising funds for Mohammad Ali Parkinson Center in Arizona.
• He has supported The Make a Wish Foundation and the Special Olympics.
• Travelled different Countries where help is needed and helped out.
• Received The Presidential Medal of Freedom From President George W. Bush in 2005.
• Hosted 15th annual celebrity fight night awards in Phoenix in March 2009
and Donated every penny to Celebrity Fight Night Foundation and Mohammad Ali Parkinson Center.
DEATH

• He had Parkinson’s Diesease in 1984.


• In Early 2015, He was hospitalized for severe urinary tract infection.
• He was hospitalized again in early June 2016 for respiratory issue.
• He Passed away on the Evening of June 3, 2016 at Phoenix Arizona facility.
