Inspection
Stages of inspection in apparel
industry
 In garments industry, the desired or expected quality
parameters are controlled by inspection.
 This inspection can be done in three steps:
1. Raw material inspection in garments industry
2. In process inspection in garment industry
3. Final inspection in garment industry 
 
Before or Pre-production Inspection
The following parameters & defects are checked
prior to cutting.
 Shade Matching  Matching of Rib, Collars &
 Fabric Construction Cuffs
 GSM (grams per square
 Fabric Holes

MEASUREMENT DEVIATIONS 
Compare the garment measurements against the Customers' Measurement
Charts.
Following are the some of the important garments' measurement aspects to
be considered.
