Introduction
• The development of wi-fi technology has influenced the
development of country’s education system.
• Academic performance analysis is becoming increasingly
critical for educational institutions especially universities.
• Students get a lot of information on academic information via
the facility of wi-fi
• Students productivity to gain knowledge increases when
information is easy to access.
Statement of the problem

Problem on the study is wi-fi usage pattern among the students in


the university and how the technology influence the academic
performance of student.
Objective
• To know the purpose of use of wi-fi service by the students of
university
• To know the frequency and time spent in usage of wi-fi facility
in the university
• To find out the satisfaction level of use of wi-fi service by
students in the university campus.
Rationale of the study
• The valuable feedback gotten from respondents should help
students to realize the benefit of wi-fi in their education.

• Institutes can invest more in wi-fi facilities to enhance the


academic performance.
Research Methodology
• Research Design
Descriptive research design is used for the study
• Sources of Data
Primary source: Data is collected in a questionnaire from the
students of karyavattom campus.
Secondary source: Secondary data is collected through books,
journals, magazines, previous studies and analysis and
relevance websites
Population: Population consist of the entire PG students in the
university campus.
• Sampling Method: Simple random sampling is used.
• Sample Size: 100 students studying in the university campus.

• Method of Data collection: structured questionnaire.


Scope of the study
• The study will contribute to implement new ideas to ensure
wifi facilities for every students.

• This study and proposed recommendation will keep a


significant contribution to the enhancement of academic
performance.
Limitations of the Study
• Limited to the use of wi-fi service by students only.

• Awareness about the facility.


• Inconvenient accessibility criteria for the facility.

• Hindrance of students to reveal their usage pattern.
