The impact of the covid-19 on the environment

Measures such as social isolation and reduced mobility of people have caused
many of our usual activities to stop, with their respective environmental
consequences in the air, water and biodiversity, among others.

Throughout the world, windfall benefits have manifested themselves.

For example
• Air has improved in various parts of the world
• The water quality also improved, now it is clearer and without garbage
waste
• In Lima, the cleanest air of the last three years is breathed. Pollution levels
have suddenly dropped. Now shorebirds on the beaches draw their natural
scenery and dolphins are seen on the green shoreline.
• The earth has rested from us thanks to quarantine. The rivers and seas are
cleaner, the animals roam freely in the spaces of their original habitat.

• In this way, it only remains to change consumption and mobility habits for
other practices that allow creating harmony with the environment.
