A. Conversation: Accepting a New Patient

Felice is transferred from emergency room(ER) to VIP room by the ER Nurse. The VI
P Nurse who is in charge is welcoming them.

ER Nurse : Good morning


VIP Nurse : Good morning, is she the new patient from ER?
ER Nurse: Yes, she is. She is felice, she is with her father Mr. Gomez. She suffers typhus
VIP Nurse: Alright, Hallo felice and Mr. Gomez. I’m nurse Velen, welcome in VIP ward.
We have prepared the room included all the facilities. I hope you will feel comfortable and i
f you need any help, I’ll be here to help you. Now, I will take you to room 3.
ER Nurse: I almost forget, this is the medical record. Please take care of her well.
VIP Nurse: Yes, of course. Let me see.
The VIP Nurse reads the medical record.

VIP Nurse: Alright. Felice Gomez, 11 years old.


oFelice: That’s right Nurse.
ER Nurse: Well, now I should go back to my room Nurse, Mr Gomez. Hopefully you
r daughter will be better soon. And don’t worry, the nurse will take care of your daughte
r well.
Mr Gomez: Thank you Nurse. Yes, of course, I have no worry because I trust you all
will take care of my daughter well.
VIP Nurse: Here is VIP 3 Felice and Mr. Gomez, welcome. You may look around to
know where every thing is. Later, I’ll come back and ask you some questios.
oFelice: Okay Nurse, thank you.
VIP Nurse: This is the pajamas. Felice, you have to wear this.
oFelice: Okay Nurse. Father, can you help me to wear this?
Mr. Gomez: Yes, of course.
VIP Nurse: Well, I’ll take the infusion se while you change her clothes.
The nurse leaves to prepare the infusion set while Felice is helped
by her father wears the pajamas. A few minutes later the Nurse comes
back with the infusion set.

VIP Nurse: Alright, have you had your pajamas on?


oFelice: Yes I have, Nurse.
VIP Nurse: Alright, now I will apply the infusion but before it I will put
on this identity bracelet on your wrist.
oFelice: Okey Nurse.
VIP Nurse: Oker, it’s finished. Now, would you please lie down here?
oFelice: Yes, sure.
Felice lies down on the bed. The nurse applies the infusion set.

VIP Nurse: Okay, it’s set. Hopefully you feel comfortable here. We will try our best to
give you a good treatment so you can get well soon. Amin.
Mr Gomez: Amin, Thank you Nurse.
VIP Nurse: No worries Sir, this is my duty to provide the best service for all customers
in this hospital. Here’s the nurse call. Just press the button if you need some help.
oFelice: Okay Nurse.
VIP Nurse: There is a refrigerator on the left side on the corner and there are TV set
and Air conditioner.
Mr. Gomez: Okay, Nurse. Emm ……… by the way where are the remote controls for
AC and TV set?
VIP Nurse: Oh I’m sorry. Here they are. The bathroom is over there on the right side.
Do you need help to go the bathroom, Felice?
Mr. Gomez: Don’t worry, I’ll help her, Nurse.
VIP Nurse: Alright. Is there anything else you need?
Mr. Gomez:Em…… no thanks. I’ll call you if I need help
Nurse.
VIP Nurse: Okay then I’ll go back to my room. I’ll be back
here to check everything after you lunch.
oFelice: Okay
VIP Nurse: Don’t hesitate to call me whenever you need
help or assistance.

Felice dipindahkan dari ruang gawat darurat (UGD) ke ruang VIP oleh Perawat
UGD. Perawat VIP yang bertanggung jawab menyambut mereka.

Perawat ER: Selamat pagi


Perawat VIP: Selamat pagi, apakah dia pasien baru dari ER?
Perawat ER: Ya, benar. Dia felice, dia bersama ayahnya, Tuan Gomez. Dia
menderita tifus.
Perawat VIP: Baiklah, Hallo felice dan Mr. Gomez. Saya perawat Velen,
selamat datang di bangsal VIP. Kami sudah menyiapkan kamar termasuk
semua fasilitas. Saya harap Anda akan merasa nyaman dan jika Anda
memerlukan bantuan, saya akan berada di sini untuk membantu Anda.
Sekarang, saya akan membawa Anda ke kamar 3.
Perawat ER: Saya hampir lupa, ini adalah rekam medis. Tolong jaga dia
dengan baik.
Perawat VIP: Ya, tentu saja. Izinkan aku melihat.
Perawat VIP membaca catatan medis.

Perawat VIP: Baiklah. Felice Gomez, 11 tahun.


oFelice: Perawat yang benar.
Perawat ER: Baiklah, sekarang saya harus kembali ke kamar Perawat, Tuan Gomez.
Semoga putri Anda akan segera membaik. Dan jangan khawatir, perawat akan merawat
putri Anda dengan baik.

ayahnya mengenakan piyama. Beberapa menit kemudian Perawat kembali
dengan set infus.

Perawat VIP: Baiklah, sudah pakai piyama?


oFelice: Ya saya punya, Perawat.
Perawat VIP: Baiklah, sekarang saya akan menerapkan infus tetapi sebelum
itu saya akan memakai gelang identitas ini di pergelangan tangan Anda.
oFelice: Okey Perawat.
Perawat VIP: Oke, sudah selesai. Sekarang, bisakah kamu berbaring di sini?
oFelice: Ya, tentu.
Felice berbaring di tempat tidur. Perawat menerapkan set infus.

Perawat VIP: Oke, sudah diatur. Semoga Anda merasa nyaman di sini. Kami
akan mencoba yang terbaik untuk memberikan perawatan yang baik agar Anda
segera sembuh. Amin
Pak Gomez: Amin, Terima kasih Perawat.
Perawat VIP: Jangan khawatir Pak, ini tugas saya untuk memberikan layanan
terbaik bagi semua pelanggan di rumah sakit ini. Ini panggilan perawat. Cukup

Simple Past Tense

Simple past tense is a simple form of verb to


show facts of past events. In simple past tense,
the time of occurrence (yesterday, the last two
days, last year) or the time period (for two
months, for one day, for one hour) can be
adjusted specifically.
Simple Past Tense

Simple past tense adalah suatu bentuk kata kerja


sederhana untuk menunjukkan bahwa suatu kejadian
terjadi di masa lampau. Pada simple past tense, waktu
kejadian (yesterday, last two days, last year) atau
periode waktu (for two months, for a day, for an hour)
dapat disebutkan secara spesifik.
