3 Effects of the policy in the
classroom
The Common European Framework proposes six levels of performance. In
Basic and Middle Education, we will focus on bringing students to reach

Languages:
 English are grouped into sets of grades, as follows: from First to
Third, from Fourth to Fifth, from Sixth to Seventh, from Eighth to
Ninth and from Tenth to Eleventh.

 After degrees, a specific performance level has also been defined


that is comparable, both with the goals of the Ministry of Education

Level of performance

processes and goals in each grade group, the level
of performance A2 was subdivided into two levels:
A 2.1 and the A 2.2.
