Rules (GSR) set out our minimum expectations
to control the risk of serious injury at the rig.
• You must be fully understood , obeyed and
commitment to the General Safety Rules (GSR)
• Any Violations of the rules may lead you to
disciplinary actions

Unsafe Behaviors
Horseplay, practical jokes or fighting, including
initiations, are safety violations. Supervisors
allowing these acts as well as the violators are
subject to disciplinary action.

Prohibited Things
The use or possession of illegal drugs,
intoxicating beverages or firearms is forbidden
on Dalma Facilities.

Non Smoking Policy
• Smoking is not allowed on rig location or
accommodation or offices, smoking is only
allowed on smoking area which located near the
welder workshop
Emergency Response
In the event of an Alarm, you will stop work, make the
area safe, shutdown all motors and equipments, and
proceed immediately to the nearest upwind Muster
Point.

Stop Work Authority
• Stop Work Authority (SWA) establishes the
responsibility and authority of any individual to
stop work when an unsafe condition or act could
result in an undesirable event. In general terms,
the SWA process involves a stop, notify, correct,
and resume approach for the resolution
Medical Emergency and Evacuation
(Medevac)
• In the event of a medical emergency that may
require transport by air, a call should be made by
the Aramco Forman /On Scene Commander
(OSC) to Saudi Aramco Area Medical Service
Organization health care provider, using the
"110" line whenever possible.

Missing Person- search for missing person

• A Search and Rescue of missing personnel may


be required once personnel accounting is
complete and either personnel are missing or are
identified as being trapped in a hazardous
situation.

Environmental Spill
• An environmental spill may be from uncontrolled
release of oil or chemicals that requires area or
national resources of specialized third parties or
which could be a possible danger to life, the
environment or to assets. The emergency
objectives of handling an oil or chemical spill are
to:
• Stop leak by isolating the affected facility
• Isolate ignition sources
• Contain the spill

Dropped Objects are among the Top 10 causes of Fatality and Serious Injury in
the Oil and Gas Industry
If you’re at the rig floor you’re not allowed across or work (Only for Visitors) in
red zone without driller permission

Heat Stress Prevention
• You should also be able to recognize the range of symptoms for different
stages of heat stress in yourselves and your colleagues.
• The Heat Stress early symptoms are Transient fatigue , Loss of concentration
Swelling of ankles and calf's , Muscular cramps , Alarming symptoms ,
Headache , ect..
• What should be done to prevent Heat Stress?
– Drink water constantly even if you are not thirsty.
– Rest in shade to cool down.
– Wear a hat and light colored and long sleeve clothing.
– Keep an eye on fellow workers.
– Stay in the shade when you can.
– During periods of extreme heat, postpone the nonessential tasks
– Stay in pairs. Each person looking after the well being of the other
Traffic rules and restrictions
• Posted speed limits indicate the maximum
speed for vehicles inside rig location 5 km/hr.
• All vehicles shall park in reverse in designated
area.
Safety Sign
• Anyone must be able to understand obey and
comply with the posted safety signs and safety
notices and displayed in the workplace.
• Never climb over Restricted and Prohibited /
Hazardous Areas which were barricaded.
• restricted areas and No-Go Zone include rig
floor, cellar area, SCR room, etc.
Rig Workover Operation specific information

• Well name KHRS 168


• The workover operations are performed for maintenance
purposes to keep production levels up, but also for remedial
objectives. They’re mainly executed to optimize oil or gas
production and keep it to a satisfactory level
• During workover operations different areas will be restricted for
safety reason : Rig floor. Cat walk , V-Door and HP.
• Be aware for additional hazard (H2S Release. Fire. Explosion.
Spills…..) from offsite areas such as: near GOSP or NGL, near
populated area or near potential source of H2S.
