Course Objectives

This course covers the Cisco CCNP Switch 300-115 exam; which is one of the required exam in
order to gain the current Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. The Cisco
CCNP Switch 300-115 exam covers various Layer 2 switching features found in Cisco Catalyst
switches; Cisco switches are commonly used in most network deployments today.

To begin with, various Layer 2 technologies will be covered. Next, we’ll switch gears towards
security; particularly Layer 2 security. Finally, we’ll look at some techniques used for redundancy
from within the context of a Layer 2 switched network.

ball rolling.
