• A royal audiencia of Mexico
• He was sent to Manila to investigate the quarrel
between Governor tabora and the Royal Audiencia
of Manila over the authority of the governor in
permitting a Chinese Merchant to bring arms and
ammunition to Manila for the use of the colonial
troops.
• The Audiencia accused the governor of exceeding
his authority and ordered the Chinese merchant to
stand trial for arms smuggling.
