perfect?
Uses
-for something that started in the past and continues in
the present Structure
*Shay has loved her dog since he was a puppy. The present perfect is:
-for change over time present tense of “have” + past
*My Spanish has really improved since high school. participle* of a verb
-for something we have done several times in the past

Past Perfect
Use
-for something that started in the past, went on for
awhile, and then stopped in the past
