Initiated diversity, equity and inclusion values to ensure that customers and
employees were served fairly (Tractor Supply Company - Company

• Founded in 1938 by Charles E. Schmidt (mail order tractor parts)
• 1939 Retail Stores created
• 2020 over 1,800 stores in 49 states
• Largest operator of rural lifestyle stores in the US
Established the Diversity and Inclusion Council to create communities within target
