ወአምላክነ ወመድኃኒነ ኢየሱስ Igzī’ine we-Amlakene we-
ክርስቶስ እምቅድመ ዕርገቱ ውስተ Medhanīne īyesus Kristos Im-
ሰማይ እምድኅረ ትንሣኤሁ qdime Irgetu wiste semay im-
እሙታን። በረከት ጸጋሁ ወሀብተ dihire tensa’iehu imutan. bereket
ረድኤቱ የሀሉ ምስለ ርእሰ ሊቃነ tsegahu wihbet red’ietu yehalu
ጳጳሳት እገሌ ወምስለ ኵልነ ሕዝበ misile rise līqane PaPasat igelie

ካብ ሙታን ምስ ተንሥኤ ናብ ሰማይ
Christ arose from the dead, before
ቅድሚ ምዕራጉ ካብ መጽሓፍ ኪዳን
He ascended into the heavens,
ንሓዋርያት ዝነገሮም እዚ እዩ ። from the Book of the Covenant,
ፍቕሩን ምሕረቱን ምስ ርእሰ ሊቀ He told to His Apostles. May Love,
ጳጳሳት ኣባ_ን ምስ ኵልና ሕዝቢ & Mercy be with the High Priest
ክርስቲያን ይኹን ንሃገርና ኤርትራ ከኣ and with all Christian people, to
በረኸቱን ረድኤቱን የሃባ ኣሜን ። our country Eritrea, may blessing
and salvation be given.

እግዚእነ ወአምላክነ።
❖ ሕዝቢ፡- እወ ልብና ኣብ ❖ People: Yes, may our
ሰማይ ይኹን ኦ ጐይታናን hearts lie in the heavens
for the sake of your name,
ኣምላኽናን ኢየሱስ strengthen us, and make
ክርስቶስ ምእንቲ ስምካ us prepared our Lord and
ኢልካ ኣጽንዓና ድልዋት God Jesus Christ

ዘለዎ እንተሎ ኣይቕረብ approach.
❖ ሕዝብ፡- በከመ፡ ምሕረትከ፡

ሕሊና ዘቦ ኢይቅረብ ። hilīna zebo īyqreb.

ዋሕድ ወያድኅን ነፍሶ። nefsa
❖ ዲያቆን፡- ንነቢያት
ዘቃልል እንተሎ ካብ ❖ Deacon: If there is

ይሔውጹ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ነጽሩ yihiewitsu biete kristīyan netsiru
ነፍሰክሙ ወአንጽሑ ነፍስተክሙ nefsekimu we-antsihu
nefsitekimu wele-bītsike muhī
ወለቢጽክ ሙሂ ኢትዝክሩ ፡ አበሳሁ
ītzikru, abesahu
❖ መስቀል ኣይግፋዕ ካብ መዓት ❖ Deacon: Let him not oppose the
እግዚአብሔር ይህደም ምስ ወዱን cross, but flee from the wrath of
ቤተ ክርስቲያንን ምስ ዝሕልዉ the Lord, because there are
ቅዱሳን መላእኽትን ዝርእየና those who look upon us, namely
ብርሃን ኣብ ስለ ዘሎ ነፍስኹም the Father of light with his Son

አልባቢክሙ ንቅረብ le-Medhanīte hiywet we-
ለመድኃኒተ ሕይወት ወቅድሳተ Qidsate be-Tibebe Igzī’abhier
በጥበበ እግዚአብሔር ንንሣእ niNisa’i ze-tewihbe lene tsega.
❖ Deacon: Be careful that no one
ዘተውህበ ለነ ጸጋ።

❖ ሓደ እኳ ምስ ብጻዩ ብቒም against his neighbour. God is

ነመስግነካ ኣሎና ነንፍስና
ፍጹም እትገብር ወሃብ ❖ Priest:- We give Thee thanks,
ሕይወትና ዘይትጠ ፍእ holy God, the perfecter of our
መዝገብ ኣቦኡ ንሓደ ውድኻ souls and giver of our life, O
በኣኻ ክንድኅን ስለ ዝፈቐ undefiled treasure, Father of
ድካ ናትካ ፈቓድ ዘዘንቱ Thine only begotten Son, our

ትሑታን ሀገሪትነ ። አንተ ውእቱ sehutan mefewis nefs ibeye
ምርጕዘ ጻድቃን ተስፋሆሙ tihutan hagerītine. Ante wi’itu
ለስዱዳን መርሶሆሙ ለእለ mirguize tsadqan tesfahomu
ይትሀወኩ le-sidudan mersohomu le'ile
❖ ካህን፡ ኦ ጐይታ ልብና የመስግነካ yetihaweku
ንኣብ ኃይሉ ንስኻ ኢኻ ንኣሕዛብ❖
Priest:- Our hearts give thanks
ጸጋ ሓቀኛ ኣእምሮ ንስሑታት
እተለብም ንነፍሲ እተድኅን to Thee, Lord, wisdom to the
ዕብየት ትሑታት እንነብ ረሉ sinners, healer of the soul,
ሃገርና ምርኩስ ጻድቃን ንስኻ ኢኻ exalter of the humble, our city.
ንዝተሰዱ ተስፋኦም ንዝህወኹ Thou art the staff of the
መህድኢኦም righteous, the hope of the
persecuted, the refuge of the

ተዋህበ ዘይህደግ ጸጋኻ Son of the living God, shine
ኣብርሃልና ትኽለትን ጽንዓትን
እምነትንጥበብን ዘይዕቀን
upon us with Thine unfailing
ኃይሊ ሃይማኖትን ዘይልወጥ grace granting us firmness,
ተስፋን ሃበና ። strength, faithfulness, wisdom,
the power of faith which is
immovable, and immutable

faith; and perfect unto us the
መወዳእታ እስትንፋስ
faith of the Holy Trinity unto

❖ ንፍቅ ካህን፡ ኦ እግዚእየ ❖ Nifqe Kahn: O Igzi’īye

ወፍሬያተ ምድር ዘዛቲ ዓመት znamate we-frieyate midir ze-
በከመ ጸጋከ ወረሲ ፍግዓ ወተድላ zatī amet be-keme tsegake
ወትረ ዲበ ገጻ ለምድር። we-resī figA we-tedela wetre
dībe getsa le-mdir.
❖ ምርሓዮም እሞ ብሰላምን
ጥዕናን ነናብ ቦታኦም ምለሶም ❖ Asst. Priest: bring them back
ንፋሳት ሰማይን ዝናማትን to their dwelling-places in
ባርኽ ከም መጠን ጸጋኻ ናይዛ peace and in health.Bless the
ዓመት እዚኣ ፍረ ምድሪ ውን airs of heaven, and the rains

በኢየሩሳሌም ሰማያዊት Amlakne ye’isyomu be-
❖ ብዕጣን ብቝርባን ብወይኒ īyrusalem semayawīt
ብሜሮን ብመ ብራህቲ ❖ Asst. Priest: give gifts of
ብመጋረጃ ብመጻሕፍቲ ምንባ incense, and bread and
wine, and ointment and oil,
ባት ብኣቕሑ ቤተ መቕደስ
and hangings and reading
ንዚሓልዩ ባርኽ ክርስቶስ ኣምላ books and vessels for the
ኽና ኣብ ኢየሩሳ ሌም ሰማያ sanctuary, that Christ our

❖ ኦ ክርስቶስ ኣምላኽና ምሕረት ❖ Asst. Priest: And all them
ንምርካብ ኣብዚ ምሳና that are assembled with us to
ተኣኪቦም ንዘለዉ ኵሎም entreat for mercy: Christ our
ራኅርኃሎም። ኣብ ቅድሚ God have mercy upon them:
መፍርህን መደንገጽን መንበ ርካ and all them that give alms
ምጽዋት ንዘቕረቡልካ ዅሎም before Thy awful and
ተቐበለሎም terrifying throne, receive.

ነፍስ ዕጽብት ወእለ እሡራን kula nefs itsbit we-ile
በመዋቅሕት ወእለ ሀለዉ isuran be-mewaqiht we-
ውስተ ስደት ወፂዋዌ ile helewu wiste sidet we-
ወእለ እኁዛን በቅኔ መሪር tsīwawie we-ile ihuzan
አምላክነ አድኅኖሙ be-qinie merīr amlakine
በምሕረትከ(ቅሐ-፳፪) adhinomu be-mihretike
❖ ንዝተጨነቐት ሰብነት ኵላ ❖ Asst. Priest:And comfort
ኣሓጕሳ በጽኑዕ ማእሰርቲ every straitened soul,
ንዝተኣስሩን ኣብ ስደትን ኣብ they who are in chains,
ምርኮን ንዘለውን ብመሪር and they who are in exile
መግዛእቲ ንዝተታኀዙን ኦ or captivity. And them
ኣምላክና ብምሕረትካ that are held in bitter
አድኅኖም። servitude, our God,
deliver them in Thy
mercy.

❖ ንፍቅ ካህን፡- ኦ ሊቅነ ❖ Nifqe Kahn: O līqine
ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ለኵሎሙ īyesus Kristos le-kulomu
እለ አዘዙነ ከመ ንዘከሮሙ ile azezune keme
በጊዜ ጸሎትነ nizekeromu be-gīzie
ወአስተብቍዖትነ ኀቤከ tselotne we-
ተዘከሮሙ በመንግሥትከ astebequotine habieke
ሰማያዊት (ቅሐ-፳፪) tezekromu be-mengstike
semayawīt
❖ ኦ መምህርና ኢየሱስ
ክርስቶስ ናባኻ ናብ ❖ Asst. Priest: And all them
እንጽልየሉ ጊዜ that have entrusted it to
us to remember them in
ክንዝክሮም ንዝኣዘዙና
our supplications to Thee:
ዅሎም ኣብ ሰማያዊት O our Master Jesus
መንግሥትኻ ዘክሮም። Christ, remember them in
Thy heavenly kingdom

❖ ንፍቅ ካህን፡- ሊተኒ ❖ Nifqe Kahn: Lītenī le-
ለኃጥእ ገብርከ ተዘከረኒ haTi gebrike tezekrenī
ረአዮሙ ወአልዕሎሙ reayomu we-alilomu
እስከ ለዓለም (ቅሐ- iske le’alem
፳፪) ❖ Asst. Priest: and
❖ ንዓይ ንኃጢኣተኛ remember me, Thy
ባርያኻውን ዘክረኒ ኦ sinful servant. O Lord,
ጐይታ ሕዝብኻ ኣድኅን save Thy people and
ርስትኻ ውን ባርኽ bless their inheritance,
ንዘለዓለም ሓልዎምን feed them and lift
ኣዕብዮምን። them forever.

❖ ኦ ጐይታ ንሊቃነ ጳጳሳትን ❖

ይመልክ። ወበምክረ ዚአከ ወልድከ ab zey’ihiz kulu be-id ymelik.
ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዋሕድ ዘተሰቅለ webe-mekire ziake weldike
በእንተ መድኃኒትነ īyesus Kiristos wahid ze-
teseqle be-inte medhanītne
❖ ክብሪ መና ብርቲ ብርሃናት
❖ Asst. Deacon: the glory of the
እተልብስ ሓጐስን ደስታን ዝኾንካ thrones, dressed in lights, the
ንጉሥ ነገሥታት ንዅሉ ብኢድ highest happiness, King of

መስቀል ዘግሐ ብእኡ ❖ Priest: He stretched
ንዛኣምኑ ሕሙማት ምእንቲ
ከድኅን መከራ መስቀል forth His hands to
ተቐበለ suffer. He suffered to
cure the sick who

ያሕዩ ወሞተ ይሥዐር ወማእሠረ
ሰይጣን ይብትክ gedufane yirikeb wemutane

❖ ካህን: ብፍቓዱ ንሕማም
weMa’isere seyTan yibetik
ዝተዋህበ ንሕሙማት ከድኅን
ሰንከልከል ንዝበሉ ከጽንዕ እዩ
❖ He who has been given to
ንዝተ ገድፉ ክረክብ ንምዉታት suffering by His own will,
ከተንሥእ ንሞት ክስዕር suffered in order that He
ንማእሰርቲ ሰይጣን ክበትኽ እዩ ። might heal the sick,
strengthen those who were
about to fall, find those who
were outcast, give life to the
dead, destroy death, break
the bonds of Satan. 51

ለጻድቃን ያብርህ ሥርዓተ hiywet le-tsadiqan yabirih

ወሕፃናተ ያልህቅ ወትንሣኤሁ we-hitsanat yalihiq we-
ያግህድ። በይእቲ ሌሊት እንተ tinsa’iehu yigihid be-yi’itī lie’līt
ባቲ አመ ያገብእዎ

❖ ፍቓድ ኣቦኡ ክፍጽም ንሲኦል
❖ To Fulfill His Father’s will,
ክረግጽ ናይ ሕይወት ኣፍ
ደጌታት ክኸፍት እዩ ንጻድቃን tread down hell, open the
ከብርህ ሥርዓት ክተክል gates of life, enlighten the
ንጸልማት ከርሕቕ ንሕፃናት righteous, establish the law,
ከዕቢ ትንሣኤኡ ውን ከግህድ remove the darkness, cause
እዩ ። በታ ንዕኡ ዝሓዙላ በታ the children to grow, and
ለይቲ እቲኣ make known His resurrection.

ብዝኾና ነውሪ ❖ Priest: He took
ብዘይብለን ኣእዳዉ bread in his holy,

ለአርዳኢሁ ነጊሮ እንዘ arda’īhu negīro inze yibil
ይብል ንሥኡ ብልዑ nis’u bel’u ze ‘imirie’ hibist
ዝ«እማሬ» ኅብስት ሥጋየ segaye wi’itu leze-be’intī’a
ውእቱ ለዘበእንቲአ ክሙ kimu yitfietet le-hidgete
ይትፌተት ለኅድገተ haTī’at
ኃጢአት ። ❖ He gave thanks, blessed
❖ ካህን፡ -ኣመስገነ ባረኸ ቈረሰ and broke and gave it to

ወአምላክነ ከመ ዝንቱ Igzī’ine we-Amlakine
ውእቱ በአማን ነአምን። keme zintu wi’itu be-

❖ ኣሜን ኣሜን ኣሜን ❖ People: Amen Amen
ንኣምን ንእመንን ኦ Amen: We believe and
ጐይታናን ኣምላኽናን confess, we glorify
ነመስግነካ ኣሎና፡ እዚ ከም thee, O our Lord and
ዝኾነ ብሓቂ ንኣምን። our God; that this is

❖ ካህን፡-ወሶበ ዘንተ ትገብሩ ❖ Kahn: we-sobe zente
ተዝካረ ዚአየ ግበሩ ወከማሁ tigebiro tezekare zī’aye
ጽዋዐ ወይን ቶሲሐከ አእኲተከ geberu we-kemahu tsiwa’a

❖ ካህን፡ ነዚ ክትገብሩ ከሎኹም demike zintu <imarie> zete-
ንመዘከርታይ ግበርዎ በልካዮም ki’iwe be-inte hatīatne
። ከምኡ ውን ጽዋዕ ወይኒ ❖ Priest:- When ye do this, do
ኣልዒልካ ሓዊስካ ኣመስጊንካ it in remembrance of Me.
ቀዲስካ ውን ሃብካዮም ብሓቂ And likewise also the cup,
ምእንቲ ኃጢኣትና ዝተኻዕወ putting wine into it, giving
ደምካ እዩ thanks, blessing, hallowing,
Thou gave it them. Truly
this is Thy blood which has

ንመፈራረድን ንጸላኢ መሳለቕን ❖ Priest:- We have not offered
ንጥፍኣትን ከይኮነና ግበረልና unto Thy holiness meat or drink.
እንታይ ደኣ ንሥጋና ፈውሲ Let them not be for our
ንመንፈስና ውን መጽንዒ ይኹነልና
judgement nor an occasion of
እወ ኦ ጐይታናን ኣምላኽናን
ምእንቲ ዓቢይ ስምካ ኢልካ ካብ
reproach by the enemy nor for
ዘየሥምረካ ሕሊና ኵሉ ክንርሕቕ our destruction, but to the health
ኃይሊ ሃበና ። of our flesh and strength of our
spirit.

ዘላ መቕደስካ ኣብ ውሽጢ ❖ Priest:- Yea, Lord our God, grant
መጋረጃ ብስምካ ንዝተጸሓፍና us, for the sake of Thy great
ነዓና ኵሉ ምኽሪ ሞት ካባና Name, to flee from all thoughts
ክርሕቕ ሃበና ሞት ይስማዕ እሞ which displease Thee.Lord grant
ይደንግጽ ቀላያት ውን ይሰንጠቕ us that the counsel of death may
ጸላኢውን ይረገጽ ።ናይ ጥፍኣት depart from us, we who are
መንፈስ ይርዓድ ከይሲ የልግስ written, through Thy Name,
within the veil of Thy sanctuary in

ይመንደብ መዓት ይህዳእ ቅንኣት asunder and, the enemy be trodden
ኣይርባሕ ደፋር ይገሠጽ። ፈተውቲ down. Let the spirit of destruction
tremble, and the serpent be removed,
ወርቂ ይጥፍኡ ድኻም ይጥፋእ ሓባሊ
let unbelief depart, and the criminal be
ጻሕ ይበል ናይ ሕንዚ ባህርያት ዘለዎ destroyed, let anger be still, let envy
ኵሉ ይበተን ኦ ጐይታ ነዕይንቲ ልብና come to nothing, and let him who
ነዓኻ ክርእያን continually sins be rebuked. Let those
who love money be cast out, let

❖ ንሕና ንዝበደሉና በደሎም ከም ❖ And forgive us our trespasses
ዝሓደግናሎም በደልናን ኣበሳናን as we forgive them that
ሕደገልና። ካብ ክፉእ ኣድኅነና trespass against us, and lead
እምበር ኣብ ፈተና ኣይተእትወና us not into temptation but
መንግሥትን ኃይልን ክብርና deliver us and rescue us from
ምስጋና ናትካ እዩ እሞ all evil; for Thine is the
ንዘለዓለም። kingdom, the power and the
