ባቲ ይወርድ መንፈስ ቅዱስ
im-liilte semayat we-ytsielilo
እመልዕልተ ሰማያት le-zintu meswa’it we-
ወይጼልሎ ለዝንቱ መሥዋዕት yqiedso.
ወይቄድሶ። ❖ People: In the name of the
❖ ብስም ኣብን ወልድን መንፈስ Father, and the Son, and
ቅዱስን ሓደ ኣምላኽ። መንፈስ the Holy Spirit, one God,
ቅዱስ ብኣኣ ካብ ሰማየ ሰማያት how frightening is this day
ወሪዱ ነዚ መሥዋዕቲ እዚ and how marvelous this
hour wherein the Holy Spirit
ዜጽልለላን ዚቕድሰላን፡ እዛ ዕለት
will descend from heaven
እዚኣ ክንደይ እተፍርህ እያ፥
and overshadow and hallow
this sacrifice.

ቁሙ ወጸልዩ ከመ ሰላሙ webe-firhat qumu we-
ለእግዚአብሔር የሀሉ tselyu keme selamu
ምስሌየ ወምስለ ኵልክሙ leIgzīabhier yehielu

❖ እዛ ሰዓት እዚኣኸ ክንደይ kulikimu
እተስደምም እያ፥ ሰላም
❖ People: In quietness
እግዚኣብሔር፥ ምሳይን ምስ
and in fear we stand
ኵልኹምን ምእንቲ ኺህሉ፡
ብጽሙናን ብፍርሃትን ቁሙን up and pray that the
ጸልዩን ። peace of God be with
me and with all of
you.

❖ ሕዝብ፡ እምነ በሃ ቅድስት ቤተ❖ Hizb: imine beha qidst

ወስእልት በዕንቈ ጳዝዮን እምነ arefatīha we-silt be-
inqwe pazyon imine
በሃ ፡ቅድስት ቤተክርስቲያን። beha qidst biete
❖ ሰላም ነዓኺ ይኹን ኣዴና kristīyan.

መናድቕኪ ብዕንቊ ጳዝዮን unto you, our mother,
ዝተሠርገወ፡ ሰላም ነዓኺ ይኹን O honorable church.

❖ መስቀል አብርሃ በከዋክብት❖ mesqel abriha be-
አሠርገወ ሰማየ፡ እምኵሉሰ kewakibt asergewe
ፀሐየ አርአየ። መስቀል semaye im-kuluse
አብርሃ በከዋክብት አሠርገወ tsehaye araye; mesqel
ሰማየ። abriha be-kewakibt
asergewe semaye;
❖ መስቀል ኣብርሀ፡ ❖ The cross shined and
ብከዋኽብቲ ሰማይ ኣሠርገወ፡ had the heavens
ካብ ኩሉ ድማ ፀሓይ ኣርኣየ። embroidered with
መስቀል ኣብርሀ፡ stars. Of all the sun is
ብከዋኽብቲ ሰማይ seen. The cross
ኣሠርገወ። shined and had the

❖ ኵሉ ዘገብራ ለጽድቅ ጻድቅ ❖ Kulu ze-gebra le-tsidq
ውእቱ ወዘያከብር ሰንበተ። tsadiq wi’itu weze-
ኢይበል ፈላሲ ዘገብአ ኀበ yakebr senbete:: īy’bel
እግዚአብሔር ይፈልጠኒኑ felasiī ze-geba habe
እምሕዝቡ ኵሉ ፡ዘገ፡ ለጽ፡ ጻድ፡ Igzīabhier yifeliTenīnu
ውእ፡ ወዘ፡ ሰን። im-hizbu kulu:
❖ ጽድቂ ዚሰርሕ፡ ሰንበት ዜኽብር❖ Blessed is he who does
ኩሉ ሰብ ጻድቕ እዩ፡ ናብ blessed deeds and
ኣምልኾ እግዚኣብሔር ዚኣተወ፡ honors the Sabbath. Let
ካብ ምእመናን ኪፈልየኒ እዩ him not question
ኣይበል፡ ጽድቂ ዚሰርሕ፡ ሰንበት whether he will be
ዜኽብር ኩሉ ሰብ ጻድቕ እዩ። outcast from the
multitudes if he was to
enter into the worship of
God. Blessed is he who
does blessed deeds and
honors the Sabbath 7
❖ ሕዝብ፣ ሃሌ ሉያ! እመቦ ❖ Hizb: halie Luya! imebo

❖ ሃሌ ሉያ ኣብ ጊዜ ቅዳሴ ካብ tselote qidasie
ምእመናን ናብ ቤተ ❖ People: Hallelujah! If
ክርስቲያን ዝኣተወ እንተሎ፡ there be any one of the
ቅዱሳት መጻሕፍቲ faithful that hath entered
እንተዘይሰምዐ፡ ጸሎት ቅዳሴ the church at the time of
ክሳዕ ዚፍጸም ከኣ Mass and hath not heard
እንተዘይተዓገሠ፡ the holy scriptures and
has not waited until they
finish the prayer of the
Mass,

እቲ ንጉሥ ሥጋን መንፈስን ዝኾነ the holy communion,
ሰማያዊ ንጉሥ፡ ሙቛሙ ኣቃሊሉ let him be driven out of

መለኮታዊ ሓዊ ከይነድድ። ኣብ zelewo, ab hilina win zimut’n kale
ልቡ ቂምን በቐልን ዘለዎ፡ ኣብ hasab’n zelewo ayqereb
ኅሊናኡውን ዝሙትን ካልእ ❖ Priest: He that is pure let him
receive of the oblation and he that
ሓሳብን ዘለዎ ኣይቕረብ። is not pure let him not receive it,
that he may not be consumed by
the fire of the godhead which is
prepared for the devil and his
angels. Who so has revenge in
his heart who so hasth in him

እንተ ዘይቀረብኩም ኃጢኣትኩም z’melese imber ane kab hatiatkum
ኣብ ገዛእ ርእስኹም እዩ ዚምለስ nitsuh iyu.
እምበር ኣነ ካብ ኃጢኣትኩም ❖ Priest: As I have cleansed my
ንጹሕ እየ። hands from outward pollution, so
also I am pure from the blood of
you all. If you presumptuously
draw nigh to the body and blood of
Christ I will not be responsible for
your reception thereof. I am pure
of your wickedness, but your sin
will return upon your head if you do
not draw nigh in purity.
