RPA Case Study For Hyundai Capital (HCA)
Problem:
HCA wanted to reduce the human effort & time spent in performing complex processes having numerous business rules to perform lease
termination cases, update accounting systems, mail the invoices to the customers and send end of day reporting to the higher management.
Processes like Payment reversal, Early Termination process, Full Termination process and Extend Full Termination process are highly complex
and are prone to error when a human performs these activities. Most of the times access is restricted to auctioning team adding more work to
HCA resources.

Solution: RPA with UiPath is proposed to replace all the human effort mentioned above. Used unattended bots to process daily lease
termination cases in an entirely non-invasive automated process. The bots were designed to be easy and accessible to the servicing team who
can launch the process by sending an email to the bot.

• Claims Processing : - Processing insurance claims is a manual, time consuming process that is prone to
errors. Errors create delays, which creates more work, ties up employees, and leads to unhappy clients. 

Before RPA, this global insurer had to go through 26 different banks and use smart searches to ensure that
payments were being made against claims and this had to be done four days of every month. This
verification process took workers four full days to complete and included search errors, missed information,
and unpaid claims.

Since automation, the errors have been eliminated and the verification now takes only two hours, saving
thousands of full-time employee hours and increasing accuracy.
