researching.
Functions:
• Place each work in context
• Describe the relationship of each work
• Shares to the reader the results of other studies
related to the study being reported
• Identify new ways to interpret results.
• Identify the gaps that exist about the research
• Provides framework for establishing the
importance of the study, as well as a
benchmark for comparing the results of the
study with other findings.
