SITUATION

Mr. RR is not in good terms with his school principal


thus he always opposes the policies enforced in school.

What is the violation of Mr. RR? What is expected of Mr.


RR?
RESPONSE

Mr. RR violates the Code of Ethics Article VI Section 1, Because of his act by
not following the policies of the school just because he is not in the good terms
with the school principal which is not accepted by the said article which states
that every teacher shall make it his duty to make an honest effort to understand
and support the legitimate policies of the school and the administration
regardless of personal feelings or private opinion and shall faithfully carry them
out. A principal by nature has to be different because they are the core for
different situation, because they can be supportive, demanding, encouraging,
and elusive. That’s why the relationship between a teacher and principal can
be opposing at times. Teachers must understand that the principal is an
education leader that will fill whatever role they need to help a teacher and
school operations grow and develop for the betterment of education.
RESPONSE

Schools will required policies which helps the school to keep students safe,
consistently of progress of the institution, and provide the best possible
education. And the teacher’s one of the responsibilities is support any the
legitimate policies of the school and the administration regardless the tensions
between colleagues. Mr. RR is expected as a teacher who will exhibit the
characteristics of professionalism at all times. How he carry himself inside and
outside the classroom and most importantly having the ability to handle himself
in a manner that reflects positively on the school you represent.
