activated, thus saving from virus transmission.

 Expectancy theory of motivation: This theory is applicable
because the customer choose this product over another as
they expect that it give greater satisfying power and they
do so after carefully thinking about it.

 Cognitive theory of learning: This theory is applicable

because while selecting a product customer wants to know all
the information about the product from different sources
such as different magazines, reference group, and opinion
leader and comparing with other product features to get the
best information so that the product can be bought without
any tension.
 ADVERTISEMENT
 It is a typical day at workplace.11 am in the morning.2 collegues
are talking amonst them in the canteen while having tea.
 The first one is discussing about his presentation that is to take
place in the afternoon later in the day, regarding “RECENT
TRENDS IN MARKETING”.It is basically research based,so
comprises of facts and figures. All of a sudden his boss calls him,
informing that the presentation is to be held in 20 minutes. He
panics and realizes that he does not have his laptop as he left it in
his car and the driver went home and he cannot be back in 20
minutes time, but his presentation is surely available in his e-mail
id. His friend(other collegue) then takes out his PEN_TECH asks
for his mobile phone, connects both of them with the cord and
gives him an internet connection within seconds with the help of
which he can download his presentation directly into the
PEN_TECH,which acts as a pen-drive as well as an internet
connecting tool. Amazed at the new technology he thanks his
friend, for the fact that he was able to download his presentation
within seconds and that too without a Laptop!!!!! and directly rushes
to the presentation hall………Later it is shown that he comes out all
happy and says to his friend that “you saved my life”and asks that
“from where did you get this PEN_TECH?????? I want to purchase
it right away!!!!!!!!!!”
