• Employee counseling is a psychological technique that is
used in various forms. The main objective of it is to support
the employees by providing them advice, guidance,
suggestions to solve the prevailing problems and improve
physical and mental conditions, performance and which can
take many forms. It is conducted with problem-solving
approach by supervisors, managers or consultants.

3.Focus is on problems faced by employees.
4.Objective of counseling is problem solution.
5.Employee counseling serves all concerned.
6.Employee counseling is a continuous process.
IMPORTANCE OF EMPLOYEE COUNSELING
• Through counseling the supervisor tries to speak to his
subordinates, ensure a two-way communication, and
help them grow and develop in the organization.
