Mode of Telecommunication in NNPC

 NNPC uses a medium of telecommunication based

on how suitable and effective it is for the purpose.

SOME MEDIUM OF TELECOMMUNICATION

UTILIZED IN NNPC includes:

• Fiber optics cable

• Radio waves
• E1 etc.
FIBER OPTICS MEDIUM
• Fiber Optics CABLE technology is used for
communication over very long distances between
two NNPC subsidiaries (e.g. between CHQ and
KRPC).

• Fiber Optics serves the purpose of thousands of

ordinary cables.

• Fiber Optics cables consists of eight wire strands

of glass material and a protective covering.
