Description Of Screen Magnifier
•A screen magnifier is an assistive
technology. This device works to make
technology available for all students to
learn. This product enhances capabilities
and reimburse the physical limitations.
Screen magnifiers are tools attached to
computers they work like a magnifying
glass. Screen magnifiers main function is
to enlarge computers screens so that the
object or writing on the screen is more
leligible. This product allows users to
zoom in and out of certain areas or the
screen.
How To Use Screen
Magnifier In Class
Student who are visually impaired have more
accessibility in the classroom by using a
screen magnifier. This product is downloaded
or programed with a cd on to the computer you
with to use. This product has a few helpful
features that teacher have access to for
classroom use, ZoomText helps students
magnify the view on a normal screen. The
screen magnifier has a speak aloud to narrate
student action as they are being done. This
product also has a feature called docked mode
that allows a part of the screen is magnified
which helps students stay focus on what they
are working on.
