It began in 1967, when two women, Zenaida
Amador and Baby Barredo dreamed of
giving Filipinos a chance to watch a world
class play.

They shaped and honed the talents of

generations of Filipino actors and actresses
who have themselves attained recognition
in their own right.

It is Asia’s first professional gospel theatre
group, it is also known for wholesome
family entertainment musical such as The
Little Mermaid and Joseph the Dreamer.

Organized in 1987, it is another leading
exponent of Philippine theatre. Working
under the umbrella of the CCP Tanghalang
Pilipino is known for its production of
original Pilipino plays.
Its effort to develop and train Filip[ino
actors, playwrights and designer through
stage plays from Philippine past.

Internationally acclaimed theatre artist
Moniwue founded the New Voice Company to
help expose Philippine audiences to an
awareness of the many social and political
concerns in the country through theatre arts.
The company became famous when it
produced The Vagina Monologues abroad
and in the Philippines since 2001 tohelp
change the laws in sex trafficking and domestic
violence in the country

television and film. They work across

cover productions inside studios or
outside on location

Set designers design sets and scenery that

aim to fully immerse the viewer in the
production. A designer looks at the details
searching for evidence through research to
produce conceptual ideas that's best toward
supporting the content and values with
