✗ Material development are used as a way to identify, develop and
evaluate learning content and strategies. Material development
as an understanding of learning design. In addition, the material
development takes into account the nature of teaching materials,
the number of students, and the availability of materials .
✗ Success in the learning process is determined by professional
educators, good input, and facilities, such as school buildings,
teaching tools, and libraries. Selection of the right and quality
teaching materials is very important.

The Concept of Materials
Development
material development is everything made by people (the writers, the
teachers, or the learners) to give and utilize information and provide
experience of the using language. So, in developing materials they
need to identify, first, learners’ needs and consider the objective of
the learning. Then, they can develop the materials by adapting them
in order to improve or to make them more suitable to learners’
needs. Therefore, materials development processes will be success if
the curriculum developers have the good concepts of material.

1. Evaluating Materials
Evaluation is an intrinsic part of teaching and learning. The activity in
evaluating materials involves measuring the value (or potential value) of a set
of learning materials by making judgments about the effect of the materials
on the people using them. It tries to measure, for example:
